This cancellation policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling golf trip bookings made through PreBirdie. We understand that travel plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible while working within the constraints of our service providers.

General Cancellation Terms

Important:

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to christian@prebirdie.com. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

  • Cancellation requests must include booking confirmation number
  • Cancellation effective date is when we receive written notice
  • Weekend and holiday cancellations are processed on the next business day
  • Refund processing may take 5-10 business days after approval

PreBirdie Service Fees

Cancellation Timeline

More than 30 days before travel:Full refund of service fees
15-30 days before travel:50% service fee retained
7-14 days before travel:75% service fee retained
Less than 7 days before travel:No refund of service fees

Golf Course Tee Times

Golf course cancellation policies vary by facility and are subject to their individual terms:

  • Premium/Resort Courses: Typically require 48-72 hours notice
  • Private Clubs: May have stricter policies with 7+ days notice
  • Weather Cancellations: Handled per course policy, often full credit
  • Peak Season: May have reduced refund availability
  • Tournament/Event Dates: Often non-refundable

We will work with each golf course to maximize your refund potential, but their policies take precedence.

Accommodation Cancellations

Hotel and resort cancellation policies vary significantly:

Standard Hotels

  • • Usually 24-48 hours notice
  • • Some offer free cancellation
  • • Peak dates may differ

Resort Properties

  • • Often 7-14 days notice required
  • • Cancellation fees common
  • • Group bookings more restrictive

Special Circumstances

Medical Emergencies

Medical emergencies may qualify for exceptions to standard policies. Documentation may be required. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for medical protection.

Weather & Natural Disasters

Severe weather or natural disasters affecting your destination may qualify for special consideration. Each situation is evaluated individually.

Travel Restrictions
